Jeff Hendrickson, an Honors Graduate of FIT who had the great fortune of co-designing a line that showed at Fall 2003 NYC Fashion Week, has spent the last 25 years digging into design projects around the world. From the textile mills of Tuscany to the garment manufacturers of Hong Kong, he has studied and learned from the best in the world. He now wants to give back by sharing what he's learned with you and he will be working with Fashion Students Online in the upcoming future in an effort to reach as many students and learners as he can.
Below are 6 videos walking you through a technical illustration and showing you how to use apparel specs to create a technical drawing which can be used by others working with you. There are another 5 or so videos to be published and they will be included in Part II. Jeff has created pdfs which can be used to follow along with these lessons. You can find them on his website, Laughing Raven Studio.
