The word ‘Suede’ literally means ‘from Sweden’. It refers to the popular leather which is used for making various artifacts, apparel & jewelry. Such kind of leather can come from the hides of goats or pigs or can be synthetic. In practicality, making such jewelry yourself is quite an interesting project and you can create marvelous suede jewelry items like bracelets, necklaces, earrings, etc. in no time, using the right tools & guidelines.
It is good to start with something easier, like a bracelet, especially if you are new to such projects. The raw material can be purchase from local craft stores. Take care while purchasing the type and size of suede. Opt for cords (instead of laces) if you chose to work over a bracelet. Next, select the appropriate accessories for your jewelry item. Do not simply dump random accessories. Doing so may spoil the broth. Once done with it, you can advance to more complex projects.
